Manager of School & Program Development, Kane County Regional Office of Education, Geneva, Illinois, serving 139 schools in 9 districts from July 1995 to September 1998. My roles included conducting teacher & administrative development workshops & courses, consulting with schools & school districts in developing & refining curriculum, standards, assessment, staff & organization development, instructional & school improvement programs. I wrote many grants, served as a grant reader, and managed many state & federal grants.

* Virginia Department of Public Instruction, Keynote speaker for a state-wide conference on induction and mentoring program models and best practices.

* AT&T, Network Software Division (now Lucent Technologies), a 3 month full time contract, needs assessment, program research & design

* Parker Aerospace, consulting regarding training and program design

* "Wireless Mentoring", Education Career Alternatives Program, Fort Worth Texas, a federally funded grant to explore use of Palm Pilots, email, online chat & discussion groups, online forums, and other online resources for mentoring of alternative certification interns.

* Arizona Public Service- Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, consulting regarding program design and later program and training refinement, led 2 mentor trainings, helped design training that the local program leaders held for all 300 staff engineers at the plant, leading to creation of a true "mentoring culture".

* Tucson Arizona Public Schools, consulting in program development for 8 different district mentoring programs, wrote proposals for a framework to align all programs & create a unified mentor training.

* World Relief, grant writing, program design as well as mentor and manager training

* University of New Mexico, training in induction program development, especially for smaller school districts in the state's Title II Teacher Quality Grant Project.

* TxBESS Induction Program at Region XI Education Service Center in Fort Worth, Texas - A two year contract totaling over 130 days of work, including consulting in program development, program evaluation & training for mentors, and university & ESC staff, mentoring of mentors and program leaders.

* Rhode Island ASCD, two state-wide training in mentoring and mentor program development & evaluation,

* Panhandle-South Plains Center for Profess. Dev. & Technology, Lubbock, Texas. Consulting on school district & university teacher development continuum and programs, research on mentoring, use of distance learning technologies, developed pre-service mentoring & training models, trained principals & preservice mentors from 15 districts & teacher education supervisors at 4 universities.

Consult on development & integration of their Mentoring, Induction, Peer Coaching, & Collegial Evaluation Programs, advising on contract renegotiations, provided coaching trainings, and continue to consult on increasing the impact of their programs on teaching and student learning.
